Fire hydrants are for use by the District or by organized fire protection agencies pursuant to contract with the District. Other parties desiring to use fire hydrants for any purpose must first obtain written permission from the District prior to use and shall operate the hydrant in accordance with instructions issued by the District and shall be metered. The User shall pay for the use of a hydrant in accordance with the Master Schedule of Fees, Charges and Penalties. Unauthorized use of hydrants will be prosecuted according to law.
