Pursuant to Penal Code §836.5, the Board of Directors of the Pinedale County Water District may designate an officer or employee of the Pinedale County Water District to arrest a person without a warrant whenever the officer or employee has reasonable cause to believe that that person to be arrested has committed a misdemeanor in the presence of the officer or employee that is a violation of a statute or ordinance that the officer or employee has the duty to enforce. The officer or employee may issue a Citation to any such person and release such person pursuant to Chapter 5C of Part 2 of Title 3 of the California Penal Code.
