A. Purpose. The purpose of this Pinedale Water Code is to set forth the rules and regulations for the Pinedale County Water District and the Water Service it provides and is intended to supersede any previous ordinance or resolution pertaining or relating to the same subject matter. If in the event any provision of this Pinedale Water Code conflicts with any provision of any previous ordinance or resolution adopted by the Pinedale County Water District Board of Directors then, the provisions of this Pinedale Water Code shall govern.

B. Repeal of Prior Ordinances. All ordinances passed by the Pinedale County Water District prior to the adoption of this Pinedale Water Code relating to the supply and delivery of water service are hereby repealed, except such as are referred to herein as being still in force or are by necessary implication herein reserved from repeal. The following ordinances and resolutions are hereby not repealed by this Pinedale Water Code: tax levy ordinances or resolutions, appropriation ordinances or resolutions, ordinances or resolutions relating to boundaries and annexations, franchise ordinances or resolutions, and any other ordinances or resolutions granting special rights to persons or corporations, ordinances or resolutions authorizing the execution of a contract or the issuance of warrants, salary ordinances or resolutions, ordinances or resolutions establishing or naming facilities or public places, improvement ordinances or resolutions, bond ordinances or resolutions, ordinances or resolutions relating to elections, ordinances or resolutions relating to the transfer or acceptance of real property by or from the District, or any resolution or ordinance relating to the setting or amending of any fee, charge or penalty.
